Boy, that Jimmy Fallon sure does love his Bob Dylan impression, doesn’t he? Seems like it, as just last night he pulled it out again to do a folksy cover of Drake’s “Hotline Bling.” The contrast! It’s hilarious!
To be fair, it’s a pretty spot-on impression, and the video quality is a ringer for the kind of heavily stylized musical clips that made the TV rounds in the late ’60s and early ’70s. Anyway, it’s pretty fun, the harmonica really works with the tone of “Hotline Bling,” and it’s a good time imagining Dylan as a big ol’ ladies’ man in the vein of Drake.
