On Thursday night’s episode of The Tonight Show, host Jimmy Fallon sat down with presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton to discuss her ongoing election campaign. In classic Fallon fashion, the interview was, at times, quite humorous — like when he decided to give Hillary a mock “job interview” for the position of President of the United States. He started by asking how she heard about the position, to which she replied, “Fourth grade social studies.” Clinton was later asked to list some of her qualifications, where she mentioned that she could type “in a pinch.”
Hillary also touched upon how she felt as the gap between her and fellow Democratic nominee Bernie Sanders continually gets smaller and smaller. She discussed Bernie’s recent “delicious endorsement” from Ben & Jerry’s, and admitted, “I find [the race between us] exciting. This is not a job they give away. You really do have to work hard for it.”
Later on, Hillary Clinton also voiced her support for President Barack Obama’s recent statements on common-sense gun safety and revealed that her own recent campaign backing by Planned Parenthood Action Fund was a “big deal” to her. “I’m honored to have the support of people whose causes mean a lot to me.”
