Pearl Jam, LCD Soundsystem, and Tame Impala to Headline Bonnaroo 2016

Bonnaroo — the Manchester, Tennessee music festival that helped revitalize “music festivals” as a thing — is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year, so, for whatever reason, they decided to have Conan O’Brien announce the lineup on his late night show, Conan. It looks about the same as most of this year’s festivals lineups: LCD Soundsystem, Pearl Jam, Tame Impala, J.Cole, and Dead & Company — twice!

The festival will take place from June 9-12, so that Tennessee weather will be all nice and swampy for everyone looking to have a good time in one of the ‘Roo’s special experiences like The Arch, or The Tower, or The Guillotine (that last one isn’t real, no). Pricing info can be found here. They’re even offering payment plans, which is a little absurd and makes me question the judgment of some of the attendees, but either way it’s nice of them to extend the ticketing to those of us who don’t have a spare $350 sitting around.

The full lineup can be found here, but here are some highlights:

J. Cole, Ellie Goulding, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Tame Impala, Death Cab for Cutie, M83, Haim, Halsey, Miguel, Chris Stapleton, Ween, Chvrches, Big Grams (Big Boi and Phantogram), Band of Horses, Father John Misty, Leon Bridges, Grace Potter, the Chainsmokers, Purity Ring, Two Door Cinema Club, Sam Hunt, Zeds Dead, Tyler the Creator, Griz, Mavis Staples, Flosstradamus, Kurt Vile, Blood Orange, Lord Huron, RL Grime, Vince Staples, Third Eye Blind, Fidlar, Daughter, Kamasi Washington, Børns, Post Malone, Shamir, Steve Gunn, Natalie Prass, the Internet, Bully, Twin Peaks, Waxahatchee, Beach Fossils, Hundred Waters and more.
