The Coen Brothers’ Hail, Caesar! is coming down the pipeline, with a release date of February 5. The film, which stars so many of Hollywood’s finest actors (George Clooney, Channing Tatum, Tilda Swinton, Scarlett Johansson, Josh Brolin, Ralph Fiennes, Jonah Hill) in a massive whodunnit set against the backdrop of Hollywood’s Golden Age, is probably going to be an incredible critical success, and also very pretty. Yet, the studio has blessed us with even more pretty stuff.
A few teasers and trailers have already surfaced, but a new featurette has just been released that shows the behind-the-scenes workings of the film, kind of, which is fascinating only if because the film itself is focused on the behind-the-scenes of the film industry.
Along with the featurette, there’s a handful of character posters, probably meant to clarify the names of all the folks being played by the film’s bevy of stars. They’re just old-timey enough, but we do have one complaint: why isn’t Tilda wearing the killer outfit we see in the trailer? Guess we can’t have it all.
Watch the trailer below, and scroll down (for a while) to see all of the character posters. Again, Hail, Caesar! is out on February 5.
