John Kasich came eighth in the Iowa Caucus this week, so now he’s pulling out all the stops. The Ohio governor said that if he’s elected president, he will use his authority to make Pink Floyd perform in concert again.

“Roger Waters is a remarkable artist,” Kasich told CNN. “I saw The Wall in Pittsburgh; it was absolutely incredible. And if I’m president, I am going to once and for all try to reunite Pink Floyd to come together and play a couple of songs.”

Kasich said the first song he would ask the band to play would be “Money,” because “we have so much trouble, in America, with our finances.”

As The Guardian pointed out, Kasich may be setting himself up for failure. David Gilmour said he was “done” with the band last year. Gilmour and Roger Waters have not performed together as “Pink Floyd” since 2005, though Waters recently completed a multi-year tour performing The Wall.
