Courtney Barnett was the musical guest on last night’s The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. The Grammy-nominated singer performed recent single “Nobody Really Cares If You Don’t Go to the Party.” Her live rendition was smooth, despite the inherently hard nature of the song. After it was all over, you had to admit that at least someone would actually care if Courtney didn’t show up at their party.
Courtney Barnett is still riding the wave started by her less-than-a-year-old debut studio album, Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit and that wave doesn’t seem to be dying down anytime soon. The Australian musician just got back from attending the 58th Annual Grammy Awards on Monday night, where she was nominated for Best New Artist.
