FKA twigs Brings ‘Good to Love’ to ‘The Tonight Show’

Just a week ago, FKA twigs released the self-directed music video for her newest single, a sensual yet sweeping number called “Good to Love.” Last night, the 28-year-old Englander stopped by The Tonight Show to perform the song for Jimmy Fallon and his live studio audience.

Dressed in all white, Tahliah Barnett seemed almost angelic as she melodiously assured her partner, “It’s not your fault that I’m loved to your limit.” twigs started the performance without any theatrics, simply letting her voice (and some remarkably bright lighting) do all the work while commanding attention even in its most tender of octaves. Then, about three and a half minutes in, the singer removed her over-shirt, revealing a jewel-encrusted bodice underneath, and gave a spirited dance number to the backing band’s instrumental.

There is no word yet on whether or not “Good to Love” is a part of an upcoming project. FKA twigs’ last release was 2015’s M3LL155X EP.
