Orange is the New Black has had a great run so far over at Netflix, and it’s fated to have an even longer, greater run, because, in case you missed it, the show was renewed for seasons four, five, and six. The teaser for the next of those seasons — keeping in tradition, it will be the called the fourth — has just been dropped, along with a release date.
The teaser finds the women of Litchfield Penitentiary watching a boring awards show (maybe the Academy Awards!?) and discussing not much of anything, which is the type of relaxed situation that lets the shows actors do their best character work. Only, the teaser is less than a minute long, so there’s not much work being done at all.
The most noteworthy thing about the teaser is that it announces that Season 4 of the series will drop on Netflix on June 17. Just in time to avoid going outside in the summer heat.
