Full Trailer for ‘Kimmy Schmidt’ Season 2 Is Zany, Wacky, Quirky, and Possibly More

Last month, a teaser trailer for the second season of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt was released. It featured no actual new content, instead drawing us back into the world of Schmidt with the cast acting like runway models. Now, a full trailer is finally here, and, oh boy, it has new content. For better or worse.

The breakdown: Kimmy (Eillie Kemper) gets a job at a year-round Christmas store; Kimmy maybe meets a handsome man that she might start dating; Kimmy goes back to school and punches a piece of wood in half; Jacqueline (Jane Krakowski) is single; Titus (Tituss Burgess) does nothing but bicker with Kimmy; Kimmy’s old friend does cocaine with a “junkyard” Elmo, and then says, “Let’s go to Red Hook with these ‘morpets’ and get pregnant!”

It’s overwhelmingly quirky, but also undeniably fun. It promises a second season that will be just as ceaselessly eccentric and illogical as the first, which was that season’s strong and weak point. Too much quirk is tough to stomach in a binge-watching session, but it’s perfect for a trailer that doesn’t even run for two minutes.
