“It’s more than a flavor… it’s emotional.” That’s founder and chocolatier-in-chief of FINE & RAW, Daniel Sklaar, describing his passion (and perhaps yours) for chocolate.
We visited his studio and small-batch chocolate factory in Brooklyn to get a sense of what inspires and drives him on the day-to-day. Hint: it has to do with a quality product — not difficult when he’s creating some of the most delicious organic, and yes, raw, chocolate we’ve ever tasted.
