One Couple’s Hilarious Reinterpretation of Couples Portraits

Brooklyn designers Leta Sobierajski and Wade Jeffree, who also happen to be a couple (we discovered them on Booooooom), wanted to explore their relationship in photos, but with a humorous twist. They reinterpreted “hilariously cringeworthy” couples portraits with a lighthearted and quirky touch, using their own aesthetic.

“Complements explores Leta and Wade’s relationship, as well as the universal strangeness of love, highlighting their individual talents that complement (and compliment!) each other,” the duo’s website explains. Some of the portraits are modeled after series you might recognize, including the famous Monica Bellucci and Vincent Cassel portrait of the couple tied up together with string.
