Internet Science Proves Drake Is a Giant on New Album Cover

Over this past weekend, as Beyoncé hype swallowed the internet, poor Drake released the album art for his upcoming Views from the 6. The album cover is simply a photo of Drake seated atop Toronto’s CN Tower, from which, you would imagine, he would have plenty of great views. Of course, this image was Photoshopped, which isn’t really a problem. The problem, if you could call it that, is that it’s pretty bad Photoshopping.

The CN Tower confirmed the Photoshop via Twitter, but didn’t elaborate beyond that.

Luckily, we have Reddit to count on for the actual science of Drake’s height, and the math has his Photoshopped self at roughly 12 feet tall — while seated. Now, Drake is a giant of the rap world, sure, and he’s done some great stuff in his life, but he’s not a literal giant. And, of course, people who like to preach practicality will point out that if Drake were to scale he probably wouldn’t really be visible on the album cover, which would really diminish the brand impact, and that’s almost the entire point of an album cover, right?

Anyway, check out the math below. Views from the 6 is meant to be out this week.
