While this summer is one for the dogs, it’s about to get much better and horse-ier and even punnier: Netflix has released the trailer for Season 3 of BoJack Horseman. After BoJack’s D-List-y life in Season 1, and the newfound notoriety from his biography in Season 2, the catch of Season 3 seems to be that he’s actually famous and people like him, thanks to his role in a hit Secretariat biopic. As usual, BoJack and the gang seem unfulfilled, even as they move closer to the lives they think they want, continuing to stumble through what many (including us) have identified as undiagnosed depression.
It also looks like we’ll get further into BoJack’s past and relationship with Princess Caroline, and Todd might get a girlfriend that’s not scamming him. Diane also has some problems, ennui or otherwise, and Mr. Peanutbutter seems like himself.
There’s no word yet on whether there will be a Season 4 for the cult hit, which just this year won a Critic’s Choice Television Award for Best Animated Series.
