Jamie xx has released a new video for his song “Gosh,” from last year’s album In Colour. The video, directed by Romain Gavras, features a cast of over 400 running through the streets of a Chinese city, finally descending around a central figure under a copy of the Eiffel Tower. The video’s press release states that the whole thing was done without CGI or 3D effects. While Jamie xx actually previously released a different video for the song, which simply panned over detailed astronomical shots, the new video is much more adrenaline-filled, and definitely more haunting with its wordless maelstrom.
The artist has also posted a list of tour dates for this summer, largely in Europe but with one show in Philadelphia.
