Personality-Filled Portraits of Prize-Winning Rabbits and Their Owners

Russian-born photographer Katya Rezvaya wasn’t sure what to make of the American Rabbit Breeders Association (ARBA) at first, but she attended a convention in Portland, Oregon and felt inspired to create a wonderful series of eccentric portraits. She captured photos of prize-winning rabbits and their owners — like 50-somethings Daniel and Susan Hathaway with their beloved bunnies Defiance and Enterprise (two Flemish giants that weigh 16 pounds each). There’s also 12-year-old Peyton Brackenbury (in a bunny costume), who names her rabbits after eyeliner brands, like Maybelline and Unique. Other owners count as many as 60 rabbits as pets. See more portraits of fabulous rabbits and their owners, which we first saw on Cool Hunting, in our gallery.
