After a summer of bad (and worse) superhero movies, John Oliver has plan to offer the studios his own caped, caper-having character for the taking: Johnny Strong, ased a comic he allegedly created as a child that is very clearly based on his childhood persona: scared of the family cat, frustrated by his clarinet teacher, and dead set against bedtime.
It’s very cute, and only five minutes, which is approximately a billion times shorter than the latest bloated Marvel or DC Comics flick.
