Today at Flavorpill, we looked at the top 10 “-gates” of 2009. We got excited over the rumor that Sam Worthington will play Flash Gordon. We wondered what our high school English teacher would think of a new Off-Broadway production of Romeo and Juliet that’s based on what people misremember about the play. We were devastated to learn that the Taylors have called it quits. We found it strange that the sequels to Avatar will take place off of Pandora. We couldn’t believe that Van Morrison is a father again at 64. We sneaked a peek at Dali’s stage curtain for the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo. We forwarded this cartoon along to a few “social media gurus” who we know and judge. And finally, we couldn’t believe that we live in a time of Facebook fugitives.
