Here’s something nice at the end of a day of self-imposed darkness: An exclusive clip from tonight’s episode of Rectify, which the folks over at SundanceTV were kind enough to offer us a couple days ago, and which we’re going to post as promised.
In the clip, Amantha (Abigail Spencer) and her former high school classmate, Billy (Nathan Darrow), go on a makeshift “date,” drinking “cheap-ass beers” and gossiping in the local Thrifty Town (where Amantha is now a manager) after the store has closed. We first met Billy in last week’s episode — which didn’t feature Rectify‘s protagonist, Amantha’s brother Daniel (Aden Young), an ex-offender who’s recently moved from his hometown in Georgia to a group home in Nashville. In that episode, Billy happens upon Amantha when her car breaks down on a dark road.
