Today at Flavorpill, we consoled ourselves with the true odds of airborne terrorism (we’re way more likely to get struck by lightning). We geeked out over the stereotyped sub-genres of geekdom and jammed to a New Year’s mixtape courtesy of Brooklyn Based. We vowed to never eat another fast food hamburger — kidding, we’re already annoying vegetarians! We decked the halls with a sweet paper font and planned to avoid Times Square even more than usual. We giggled over childhood photos of famous chefs. We wondered how one would hook up broadband in an Alaskan yurt. And honestly, we got a little bored because the internet is a dead zone today.
