Modern TV classic The Good Wife may be over (I was a loyalist for about four seasons) but the Diane Lockhart spinoff, The Good Fight, is arriving on the smallest screens. It will air this winter on CBS all access, the network’s streaming service. The new show will start a year after the previous one ended, following Christine Baranski’s fashion and fierceness icon Diane Lockhart as she remakes her career in the wake of scandal and drama.
The first teaser features lots of obligatory shots of glossy boardrooms, angry faces, quips and half-clothed lawyers in bedrooms. Cush Jumbo as Luca Quinn and Sarah Steele as Marissa Gold, both delightfully campy in the teaser, finish out the cast.
The Good Fight will be available to stream on Sundays, starting February 19th.
