If you’re like Flavorwire, your memories of Election Day 2016 probably involve unopened bottles of champagne, very much open bottles of cheap booze, and a creeping feeling of existential dread that has never really gone away since. If you want to see how the rest of America reacted to Donald Trump’s, um, unexpected electoral college victory, then you can tune into Epix next Tuesday at 8pm for the new documentary Election Day: Lens Across America.
The film, made by directors Emma Tammi and Henry Jacobson, promises to “weave together the stories of seven photographers as they cover the November 8 election, each from a different perspective and location.” It’s produced by Blumhouse Television, the studio responsible for The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst and How to Dance in Ohio, and comes with a press shot (above) that gives us an intimate view of the epiglottis of one overwhelmed Trump supporter. What a time to be alive, eh?
