Philadelphia-based songwriter (and Flavorwire favorite) Alex Giannascoli — better known as Alex G — has announced a new album, Rocket, which will be released in May. This will be the ever-precocious and prolific Giannascoli’s seventh studio album, which is pretty good going, given that he is all of 24 years old. The album announcement was accompanied by the release of two new songs, “Bobby” and “Witch” (Giannascoli is fond of single-word song titles.)
