It was bound to happen eventually, and sure enough, those mad geniuses over at Gallery 1988, our favorite pop culture art gallery, landed on (arguably, but I’m right on this) the funniest show on television, Veep. Their celebration of the HBO series, featuring an assortment of pieces by several G1988 faves (and a few new names), just closed at their West gallery, but no worries – we’ve collected a few of our favorite pieces from the show, for your perusal and enjoyment.

Phil Noto, “Veep ’76”

Luke McGarry, “Veep Veep!”

Jeffrey Everett / Rockets Are Red, “White House Black Metal”

Nan Lawson, “Maybe Meyer”

Cuyler Smith, “Catherine Meyer”

Chet Phillips, “Second to None”

Fred Harper, “Schlisten”

100% Soft, “Veep!”

Barry Blankenship, “Les Veep”

Doug LaRocca, “Bag Man”

Chris McGuire, “43rd Most Effective President”

Alexander Wells, “Campaign Extravaganza”

Lou Pimentel, “Unfinished History”

Special thanks to Gallery 1988 and all of their talented artists.
