Well, the fine folks at Pixar and Disney have a new one for us, and guess what, it’s probably gonna make you feel a lot of feelings about your family. Wild, huh?

Coco is the latest from director Lee Unrich, who previously directed Toy Story 3 after co-directing Finding Nemo and Monsters, Inc.; his co-director on this one is its screenwriter (and previous Pixar animator) Adrian Molina. It’s a musical fantasy adventure set partially in the Land of the Dead, and with a strong Latinx component in narrative and talent; the voice cast includes Benjamin Bratt, Gael García Bernal, Renée Victor, and Edward James Olmos.

And look, there’s even a trailer for it, how about that:

Coco hits theaters on November 22. Side note: Coco is also the title of a forthcoming musical drama directed by Wu-Tang’s RZA, so that should make for some fun confusion at the multiplex.
