See Jack and Karen (and Will and Grace) Reunited in ‘Will & Grace’ Revival Teaser

With the premiere of the 11-years-later Will & Grace revival approaching (it’s set to air on September 28), NBC released a teaser yesterday. Unfortunately, you won’t find if this series — which was at one point trailblazing — will look like it’s adapted well to 2017. (Will there be a laugh track? Will Grace have beef with Susan Sarandon?) Nor will you find out if, say, Will is now single and Grindr-ing, Grace is interior designing for real estate tycoons’ Bushwick country homes, Karen’s voice has reached a level of highness only dogs can hear, and Jack is still thriving off Beverly Leslie’s death-money. Nor, for that matter, will you find out how the hell they’re going to handle the time-jump of the series finale, which saw Will and Grace in a 20-year-long friend breakup, stretching far beyond 2017. (The show’s co-creator Max Mutchnik recently addressed this very issue, cryptically telling E! News, “They are very much living in that apartment in 2017 in the month of September, on the 28th of September at 9:00. That’s when you’re going to meet up with them again and they are going to explain to you exactly what happened so you know the rules moving forward and you won’t feel like anything is left open.”)

What you will see, however, is…the cast! Indeed, the trailer shows us that Grace is still Debra Messing, Karen is still Megan Mullally, Jack is still Sean Hayes, and Will is still Eric McCormack, and that they’re all dancing with delight to be back together. And who knows, given how little is known, the show may very well be 23 minutes of footage of the cast-members doing silly dances weekly. They certainly do it well in the teaser:
