The Fuzz is Alive and Well with My Bloody Valentine’s ‘Isn’t Anything’ and ‘Loveless’ Vinyl Reissues, Plus New Album Teased

My Bloody Valentine have finally announced the release of two vinyl reissues they’ve been promising for some time. The band’s first two albums, Isn’t Anything and Loveless, will be analog-only cuts (no digital copies) and “mastered from analog tapes using Studer A80 VU PRE and Neumann VMS 80 cutting lathe for full analog signal path,” according to the MBV website. You can pre-order your copies, set to release on January 18, 2018.

In other (potentially) exciting news, vocalist Kevin Shields revealed that he’s working on a new album from the shoegaze pioneers that is slated for a 2018 release. The update comes from the Norður og Niður website, Sigur Ros’ upcoming festival in Iceland. No official announcement from the band has been made at this time. Also, can we talk about this “mbv fuzz” tee? New album art, maybe? More as soon as we have it.
