A few weeks back, Morrissey released the first single from his forthcoming LP Low in High School, which had perhaps the most Morrissey title imaginable: “Spent the Day in Bed.” Now he’s released the video for that single, in which the wheelchair-bound former Smiths frontman is wheeled (by English soccer player Joey Barton) into a social club to perform the song with his band, alongside cabaret artist David Hoyle. In other words, he does not spend the day in bed, rip-off, totes fake news.
