Cool New Mondo Posters for Classic Universal Monster Movies

That whole goofy-ass “Dark Universe” thing may have been a non-starter, but there is still love for the vintage Universal Monsters – at least among the kind of classic film fans that buy Mondo T-shirts and posters. And thus, Mondo’s Austin gallery is putting up its second show dedicated to Dracula, Frankenstein, the Wolf Man, the Creature from the Black Lagoon, and all the rest, paying tribute with a series of posters that delightfully mix the conventions of old-school movie posters and modern graphic touches, with a playful wink. The show opens January 19; here are a few preview images to whet your appetite, plus more info on the exhibit and its artists.
