Book Excerpt: Striking Images of Models Between Shots

Share:

Every photographer strives to get their image absolutely perfect: the subject carefully posed, the framing carefully composed, everything just so. But in his fascinating new book Extempore, photographer Steve Diet Goedde collects a series of images captured between those perfect frames – offhand moments between the photographer and his models (most of whom are drawn from his circle of close friends), in which their relationship and trust becomes the subject.

Extempore is out this month in the UK from Circa Press, but not available in the U.S. until July. But we’ve collected some of the most striking images from the book for this special sneak preview.
