According to Pitchfork, Arcade Fire have teamed up with the NFL and charity Partners in Health to air “Wake Up” during this Sunday’s Super Bowl, with all proceeds from the licensing going to help Haiti relief efforts. Before you start your hand-wringing, it should be noted that you’re a little late to the party: The track was the pre-game intro song at New York Rangers games during the 2006-2007 season, and is currently being used as the intro song for the UK’s Aston Villa football club. It’s also the closing song for Dan Patrick’s syndicated sports talk show.
