Today at Flavorpill, we flipped out because Belle and Sebastian are back!!! We came across some love padlocks — a trend that’s apparently sweeping the world, but we’ve never heard of before. We watched as Kristen Wiig channeled Carmen Miranda, Frida Kahlo, and Brigitte Bardot in photos from the new issue of V magazine. We knew that it was an easy joke, but we couldn’t help but laugh at this Wes Anderson Spider-Man spoof. We visited 10 Japanese ghost towns and some equally desolate abandoned mental hospitals. We failed to see the wisdom in a Broadway adaptation of Disney’s Dumbo. We found a new Tumblr to obsess over — CoverSpy. (We can’t wait until they go international.) We looked at the film industry by the numbers, as well as the 10 geekiest Best Picture nominees. We started counting down the days until the new LCD Soundsystem record. We vicariously experienced a Girls Night Out with Erin from The Office. And finally, we tried to decode the Illuminati messages lurking in this image of Diddy with the Mona Lisa. Any thoughts?
