We were surprised by this piece in The Daily Telegraph about Vladimir Putin’s part-time gig as a painter — not that he’s the first political figure to reveal an artistic side — but we just didn’t know that the same man known for his bare-chested hunting and fishing exploits was equally adroit with a paintbrush.
It’s almost as crazy as finding out in the final stretch that Dubya was secretly an amateur artist, working out his professional angst through creativity over the past eight years. And what if he was, and he was really talented?
