This initiative allows you to get in on the action by voting on charities that you’d like to see get funding from American Express. With a total of 50 causes involved; there are a ton of opportunities to volunteer or donate to help make the world a better place.
Our Cause of the Week: Concern Worldwide
For the next several weeks, we’re going to highlight a new charitable organization here on Flavorwire that is a personal favorites of ours. Kicking things off, we’re focusing on Concern Worldwide, a 40-year-old humanitarian organization dedicated to alleviating poverty and extreme suffering around the world. From Haiti to Sudan and Pakistan: the organization sends relief via aide in education, HIV and AIDS, emergency programs, and more.
