We’re currently looking for two editorial all-stars to join our team beginning in August. Maybe you’re interested, or have a talented writer friend?
Here’s what we want: Ideally you are a college student or recent graduate who is pop culture-obsessed and funny, with a strong voice. You have of a bunch of websites in your RSS that you can’t wait to check out each morning (and we’re one of them!), and an eye for what makes certain content go viral. You are comfortable with generating creative ideas on your own, but willing to pitch in and write assigned pieces as well. You have at least a basic knowledge of Photoshop and HTML. You’re on Twitter, and familiar with bookmarking sites like reddit and Digg.
This internship is paid ($10 per post), with bonuses tied to page views that top out at $90. New York candidates are preferred, but if you’re already familiar with blogging, we might be able to work out something remotely.
