What’s On at Flavorpill: Links That Made the Rounds in Our Office

Today at Flavorpill, when we were supposed to be busy working… we cheated and read Sasha Frere-Jones’s live blogging of the season premiere of Lost (on a side note, did anyone read his plug for Pandora in the most recent issue of the New Yorker — WTF?); we shivered over the blood-filled promo for Animal Planet’s Dark Days in Monkey City; we read a snippet of what may or may not be the next The Devil Wears Prada; we feared that we’re well on our way to becoming social media zombies; we remixed Obama’s inaugural address (a few times) in order to prepare for Stephen Colbert’s latest remix challenge; we dreamed of Strawberry Pancakes; we got the details on the photograph that inspired Shepard Fairey’s ubiquitous HOPE print — only days after the photographer found out for himself; we loved the fact that Obama refuses to give up his BlackBerry; we can’t believe that we’re just finding out about Patti LuPone’s big freakout; and finally, we can’t believe that Kanye West is letting 50 Cent’s insults get him down. Perhaps they’ve agreed to disagree to create headlines?
