Today at Flavorpill, when we were supposed to be busy working… we felt bad for the poor people who can’t get a pizza delivered on Butt Hole Road, in South Yorkshire; we reveled in the awkwardness of this terrible He’s Just Not That Into You promo video; we disagreed with Norwegian Wood’s place at #56 on this “ultimate countdown” of every Beatles song ever; we got a hilarious reminder that a lot of people still watch Grey’s Anatomy; we played Jon Brion’s “Little Person” over and over as we wrote our rant about his unfair Oscar snub, but fantasized nevertheless about the possibility of this very hot Oscar moment; we loved Hendrik Hertzberg’s observation about Barack and Michelle’s pose and its resemblance to the cover of The Freewheelin Bob Dylan; and finally, we wished we were French 18-year-olds so that we could get this awesome birthday present from Nicholas Sarkozy that might help print media.
