What’s on at Flavorpill: Links That Made the Rounds in Our Office

Today at Flavorpill, we were sad to find out that our friends at Gen Art are calling it quits after 16 years of promoting emerging talent. We adored this “photographic collage of 99 pedestrian traffic-light icons collected from around the world.” We spent longer that we’d care to admit poring over the ever-expanding Lady Gaga Look Book. We came across the first piece of Treme backlash that we could remember reading. We bookmarked this list of the top 10 illustrated books for adults. We wondered how common age-inappropriate crushes on Hermione were 10 years ago. (Actually, we’re not sure that we want to know.) We peeped the first official still from “Rebirth,” the first episode of the newly-resurrected Futurama. We couldn’t understand why there was so much fuss over the new Miley Cyrus video. We visited an abandoned airplane factory in Bethpage, Long Island. And finally, we wondered if moonshine will become the new PBR. That would be dangerous news for skinny hipsters…
