Sundance Filmmaker Blog: Ry Russo-Young, You Wont Miss Me

I woke up pretty exhausted this morning and grabbed a croissant and coffee with You Wont Miss Me‘s original score composer Will Bates and his lady friend Sarah Bereza. At all the Q&A’s so far people ask me about the score; I think a soundtrack is in order here!

Today we had our last screening and it went fantastic. It was a packed house and the audience really loved the film. Also, some of my new Sundance friends came to see the film like Jason Ritter (who is a great actor) and Marianna Palka (actress and director of Good Dick). A really insightful review of our film came out on Movie City News; you can read it here.

Shortly after the film, Stella and I got in a car and drove the the airport. The drive through the mountains was kind of surreal because we were so tired and my ears were popping from the altitude. We slept, ate, read on the plane and got into New York at midnight. What at trip! I have to go back and read my blogs here to remember exactly what happened.
