If Lost Were a Sitcom, Here’s How It Would End

As we inch ever closer to the ever-expanding Lost finale, we’re becoming a bit pessimistic that the show is going to answer its many open questions and tie up all of its various interconnected plot lines. In fact, it wouldn’t surprise us if the series ended with the ghost of Charlie floating down from heaven and playing a magical guitar solo that transports everyone 1000 years into the future, when the radioactive island is populated by glow-in-the-dark alien monkeys. (In this version, the sounds of Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse laughing would be audible over the credits.) Equally likely, then, is a vision of the final episode brought to us by the folks at Babelgum. After the jump, they imagine how Lost would end if it were a sitcom. Watch till the end for a twist we’re sure you won’t see coming.
