Last night during the MTV Movie Awards, a new trailer for David Yates’ Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows debuted, and boy does it ever look angsty. This seventh (and next to the last) installment in the Potter franchise appears to be taking its visual cues from the Twilight series, and contains such Ron on Harry zingers as, “You don’t know how this feels. Your parents are dead, you have no family!” While it’s hard to tell from the trailer how this one’s going to turn out as a whole (this film is only the first installment), one thing is for sure: Emma Watson gets prettier and prettier every time we see her. Which reminds us: Where’s the long-awaited Ron and Hermione kiss?
The first part is scheduled to hit theaters on November 19th, 2010. The second part on July 15th, 2011.
