We watched the 10 best World Cup commercials from across the globe. We downloaded a new Washed Out track that features Caroline Polachek from Chairlift on vocals. We discovered a fake bird that tweets at real people. We wondered what kind of writer Stieg Larsson was at only 17 years old. We were excited to see what Vogue‘s Sally Singer brings to the table as the new editor-in-chief of T magazine. We were surprised that Deer Tick decided to fight back against Pitchfork’s not-so-nice review of their latest album. We weren’t thrilled to hear that John Stamos will be a regular on Glee next season, playing a dentist and Emma’s love interest. We remembered why our mom never liked us playing Mortal Kombat. And finally, we couldn’t take our eyes off of these sculptures made from Rolodex cards. Now we finally know what to do with ours!
