Remixing Elizabeth Alexander’s “Praise Song”

We’ve decided to ignore all of the Christian Bale flip out remixes floating around the Internet (we’re not really giving it more attention unless we link to something right?), and instead direct you to something we find a little more productive albeit less timely: interesting remixes of Elizabeth Alexander’s much-critiqued inaugural poem, “Praise Song,” by WMFU listeners.

The instructions: “Take her poem. Remix it, shred it, speed it up, slow it down, reconstruct it, deconstruct it, warp it, bend it, twist it, scream it, rock it, set it to noise, obliterate it.”

This one’s our favorite, mostly because it reminds us of Gollum from Lord of the Rings. That said, we think Flavorwire’s readers could do better.
