Artist and illustrator Lisa Congdon’s A Collection a Day is a year-long online art project that turns obsessions into things of beauty.
Congdon loves things: specifically, collecting, arranging, and displaying things. From antiques to rare books, and from spoons and canceled stamps to light bulbs, bird houses, bingo cards, and animal figurines, Congdon’s meticulous 365-day daily display depicts her myriad collections with affection and reverence. Via photos, drawings, and paintings, she presents all manner of random objects, including the imaginary.
